Happy Valentine's Day!

Two words pretty muc descirbe Valentine's Day for us this year...LOW KEY!  Last night we did enjoy dinner out and Barb was nice enough to babysit the girl for us.  The first restaurant we tried to go to had a wait of 90 minutes!  We both agreed that was ridiculous so we ended up downtown at Spaghetti Works.  We had a nice dinner and enjoyed being out, just the two of us.

Today Charlotte and I got up and let Dad sleep for a bit but soon enough she decided it was time to open her Valentine's present from us.  She got some treats and seemed to very much enjoy them!  The card we got her seriously looks like a cartoon version of her! 

And to round out the day, here is our 43 week old family on Valentine's Day!

Baby Swim

Charlotte and I have been attending water babies class on Monday nights. She really enjoys it and so do I. We sing little songs, play games in the water and just teach them to be comfortable while in the pool. The picture isn't great, but here we are swimming!  So far so good as long as neither of us catches a cold from swimming and then heading out in this cold weather.  We dry, change, and bundle but I still feel bad taking her out after swim class.

42 Weeks!!

Charlotte was far more interested in catching a snowflake than looking at the camera but that's ok!

Today...

Today we have reached the current pinnacle of rascal-i-ness with Charlotte.  Things that were said today by Jim or I at one time or another:

"I'm watching for her, if she starts heading you're way I'll warn you."

"Odie just run away, seriously just run away form her."

"Don't throw your toys at Boomer"

"NO!"

"Stop!"

"Leave him alone"

"Be nice to the cat"

"...and the dog"

"Run Boomer...RUN!"

"Don't sit on the cat!...are you on his leg?"

"Don't worry Boomer, I'll save you."

"CHARLOTTE!!!"

"Let go of his leg"

"Don't pull his tail...or bite it!"

"Charlotte, seriously stop or you will have to take a nap in the naughty bed" (I don't even have any idea what I meant when I said this, it just came out.)

It seems as though our entire night has been filled with these comments...and as you can see they mostly involve the pets.  Now that she can chase them things are just a little different!

Pretty good so far I think!  She "tries" to say a lot of other things but these are the only ones that are always clear as day!

Toothy Grin Girl

I like this picture of Charlotte for two reasons:

1. You can see all 3 of her bottom teeth in it.  She also has one tooth on top and the second one is ALMOST all the way through.  They certainly take their time.
2. Her shirt cracks me up!  It says "Daddy knows a lot but Mommy knows everything."  Now seriously, how awesome is that?!?!

41 Week Old Family

Here we are yesterday heading out for the first time in her big girl car seat in my car.  We had the one for Jim's and daycare but just got the one for my car delivered on Thursday.  We love the cowmooflage cover!
