Easter Bunny Baskets

Seriously, Easter is my favorite holiday EVER!  Every year Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas roll around and make me think, "hey, this holiday is pretty awesome...maybe it's my favorite".  Nope.  Not a chance.  Easter takes the cake every year...and my close second HAS to be 4th of July!!  I SWEAR there are days in the spring when I walk outside and think "mmm...smells like Easter".  Perhaps my favorite smell ever.  Easter was great as a kid and I am excited to make it equally as great for Charlotte.

Saturday night we left carrots out for the Easter Bunny...
and he certainly came to visit.

He was good to all of us, nice bunny that he is (Jim's basket has the bounce dryer bar, he loves those things and we needed a new so...what the heck right?)

We dug into our baskets on Sunday morning after getting the girl some breakfast.  She cracks me up because she didn't want to take anything out of the basket.  She is all about picking things up right now so she would put the eggs in the basket, the toys in the basket, and every little piece of grass went back into the basket.  Ummm...side note: Carrot shaped eggs look a little like bajungas with tassels at that angle.

The Easter Bunny is riddled in tradition...we always got a dollor from the bunny too.  He was very nice to give Char treats she would love.  Yummy Cheerios, biter biscuits, and a marshmallow lollipop.

So glad that you have such wonderful memories of Easter! Touches my heart!

And you are probably the ONLY person that calls them "bajungas"!!
;o)
